Inspired by 25 de Abril de 1974, or the Carnation Revolution/Revolução dos Cravos in portuguese, I created this piece to show that love between two people - specially within the LGBTQ+ community -, is something that was conquered through struggle and revolution. Here, two characters in love kiss each other, surrounded by vibrant red carnations. Below is read "Liberdade de Ser" (Freedom to Be): a reminder to embrace authenticity and live without constraint.
